Mark Foley is a Colorado native, personal trainer, health enthusiast, and self-professed geek. Mark was bit by the fitness bug early on through a fascination with iconic fitness guru Arnold Schwarzenegger. Throughout high school and college, his focus was on bodybuilding and ways to look better. He has grown in his ideas of fitness since then, now with a focus on how to perform better, move better, have no pain, and to feel amazing inside and out. Now instead of Arnold he looks to Gray Cook, Mike Boyle, Ben Greenfield, Josh Bridges, and Batman for the best training methods around. A lifelong wellness journey has lead to a passion for acrobatics, Frisbee golf, hiking, and nutrition. Mark believes in a functional training style for any fitness goal and eating that is right for your individual body type. When he isn’t training or researching fitness, Mark can be found reading, snowboarding, cooking, at a comic book convention or just enjoying everything Colorado has to offer.
Mark’s inspiration to follow his dream of helping others with their own health steams from personal health problems. A struggle with depression from a young age was a big challenge in his life. Trying to lead a better life and follow the popular sciences approach to treating depression wasn’t enough for Mark. For most of his adult life, he constantly researched nutrition to help find something that could make him happy. After finding some moderate success through supplements, the search continued until he found the right answers for him. Now he wants to make sure no one feels sad due to depress and wants people to lead full functioning lives through exercise. He currently follows an ancestral health lifestyle of eating real food that fuels everything the body needs, and moving properly in life and exercise to produce healthy joints, muscles, and bones.
